KLOG has a global platform that makes it easy for clients to share their creative ideas. We love to brand and market these ideas while connecting with talented new business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporations.
KLOG Logos and Designs was founded in 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida, as an online one-stop shop for clients seeking high-quality, professional designs. The journey to this point has been filled with life experiences that inspire me to help others reach for the stars. I’ve always had a love for creativity, even from a very young age. From drawing, playing with Legos, and making sculptures out of playdough to getting in trouble on my first days of school for drawing eyes inside the word “look,” creative activities were always fun for me. As I started diving into the field of graphic design, I began to see that playing in order to bring something new, unique, and hopefully of value into the world has always brought me a great deal of satisfaction.
Along the journey, I studied graphic design at Florida A&M University, where I was a student athlete and played college football. After completing my degree, the dream of owning my own design company took a detour. I went on to play professionally for the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent, which unexpectedly transitioned my career into acting. In 2010, I landed my first role as Dr. Wallace in Tyler Perry’s hit stage play Madea’s Big Happy Family. Shortly after, I went on to play Bobby in the stage production of A Madea Christmas. The two roles created opportunities for me to appear on TV series such as Single Ladies, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, and Kode Orange. In just two years, I had begun to build a name for myself and made the move to Los Angeles, where my career took off.
LA was definitely an eye-opener. I worked with award-winning actors such as Idris Elba, Tyler Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Leslie Bibb, the late Tommy Ford, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Vanessa Williams, LisaRaye, and Melyssa Ford. The experience helped me understand how important hard work and focus is when establishing a brand. Between gigs, I maintained a strong work ethic and secured graphic design jobs to keep me going. I reached out to my alma mater and contracted as a jr. graphic designer, creating advertisements for the university’s Student Health Services department. Even in the midst of a promising acting career, I realized my passion for owning a design company hadn’t gone away. I had to make a crucial decision. A wise person once said, “If you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” From that moment, I knew graphic design was where my heart truly was.
During my time as an actor I was fortunate enough to lean about investing, and so I decided to invest in my own company and take KLOG to the next level. A year later, my career path changed when I relocated to Maryland, where I now continue to focus 100 percent on building a solid brand with a dedicated team and great customer service. KLOG continues to grow, expanding its online presence with every high-quality design we create and each new client we serve. We can’t wait to show you what we can do!
